Fitness Tennis is a form of workout where Aerobic Exercise meets Functional Training and, of course, Tennis. Ultimate entertainment along with tennis and fitness improvement is the inevitable result.
This is FITNESS TENNIS! An innovative program designed to improve your tennis skills while improving physical fitness through workouts that combine tennis programs with tennis-specific fitness programs in the most ideal way.
Ladders, obstacles, steps, medical balls, resistance bands, rackets, balls and body weight, are the ingredients for designing functional and multijointed exercises that strengthen the core and stabilize the whole body. Exercises that improve strength, speed, endurance, flexibility, coordination and have the natural consequence of making FITNESS TENNIS participants ready to meet the constant demands and challenges of everyday life, which, ultimately, leads to a better quality of life! The secret is … intensity.
The program takes place once a week and consists of a cycle of 8 specific and different training units. Each cycle is repeated after the completion of all 8 training sessions, while the workouts are conducted by P.E. teachers, licensed tennis coaches who are trained in the specific program.
The specificity and innovation of Collective Tennis School’s FITNESS TENNIS, in comparison to other tennis-related fitness programs, is that this program aims primarily at improving tennis through targeted fitness improvement rather than just improving fitness in general.
The creators of the program are the owners of Collective Tennis School, Kostas Vouroukos and Giorgos Kakalos, P.E. teachers, licensed tennis coaches and the school’s technical manager Manos Moulianitakis, P.E. teacher, licensed tennis coach.
